*Please note that Double Queen Sofa rooms are the furthest from the convention center; also, although you can add one to two additional guests by using the sofa sleepers, you will incur an additional per person, per night charge.

 PK Retreat FAQs

PK Youth FAQ’s

  • Beginning this year, all students will be housed with their families during the retreat.

  • PK Youth retreat will begin on Monday at 6:30 pm.

  • Registration includes t-shirt, sessions, and activities only.

  • Parents will be given the opportunity to select their preference on the registration form.

  • Yes. Cell phones are permitted.

  • Ill students will not be permitted to attend. This includes teens with a fever over 100.4⁰. Students must be fever-free for 24 hours prior to attending.

  • Although there is no specific dress code, we ask that parents use good judgment in deciding what a teen should wear at an event of this nature.

PK Kids FAQ’s

  • Childcare is available during all of the main sessions (Monday night, Tuesday morning, Tuesday night, and Wednesday morning). It is not provided during additional sessions, luncheons, or breakouts.

  • Meals are not provided for children so please be sure that your child eats prior to being checked in. Children will receive a light snack during the sessions. 

    If infants require feeding while in care, please be sure to leave instructions for the staff at check in.

  • Yes. Children must be checked in before each session at the designated check-in area. Each child will be issued a label along with a matching parental identification tag to be used for pick up.

  • When you register, you will provide a cell phone which will be used to contact you if necessary. If you need to change the contact number, please email events@ohioministry.net.

  • Children ages 2+ rotate to different activities throughout the sessions. If you need to find your child during the services, please go to their classroom and there will be a sign on the door telling you where your child can be found.

Family Discount

We are offering a $25 discount for parents of multiple children/youth, beginning with the 3rd child.

As always, our passionate student ministries team is working hard to make the PK (Pastors Kids) portion of this year’s gathering extra meaningful for all our kids, ages 0-18. In addition to age-appropriate sessions for all children, those in grades 6-12 are encouraged to stay with their peers and leaders for the entire retreat, including housing.

Heart for Ohio Discount

As a token of appreciation for Ohio churches who financially support Network Ministries, Heartland Conference Retreat Center, and Church Multiplication, in accordance with levels recommended in OMN Bylaws, registration fees for this event are waived for lead pastors and all credentialed AG ministers (and their spouses) who are in good standing with their Network tithes and who regularly attend or are on staff at “Heart for Ohio” churches.

*Over the years, we have enjoyed offering a separate housing option for youth during our Ministers Retreat. While this has provided a unique experience for our pastors’ kids, the increasing cost of accommodations, along with the need to reduce the overall cost of this event to keep it affordable for families, has made it necessary for us to adjust our approach.

 Beginning this year, all students will be housed with their families during the retreat. Our team is committed to continuing to provide meaningful programming and opportunities for connection for our students. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to a great time together at this year’s retreat.
