WHO WE ARE

As we work to develop and deploy Spirit-empowered leaders for healthy multiplying churches and ministries, the Leader Development Department supports this goal through three Key Result Areas:

Identify & Train

Discipled leaders continue growing while actively discerning gifting in potential leaders, effectively mentoring them with time, prayer and resources.

Care & Coach

Discipled leaders model and celebrate a climate of intentional self-care and ongoing coaching to heighten long-term fulfillment and effectiveness.

Multiply & Mobilize.

If we Identify and Train new leaders and Care for and Coach our new and current leaders, we will Multiply our numbers and Mobilize new leaders to meet our audacious OHIO FOR JESUS goal of 25,000 new leaders by 2030.

The Leader Development Department consists of several key departments and ministries: Ohio KidMin, Ohio Youth Ministries, Girls Ministry, Royal Rangers, Youth Alive, Chi Alpha, SEU Ohio, Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Ohio Network of Women Ministers. In addition, ministerial credentials and the Ohio School of Ministry fall within the area of Leader Development.

CARE AND COACH

Professional Coaching

 Ohio Ministry Network in partnership with Emerge is providing pro bono coaching services to credential holders in our Network. Participants will receive professional coaching in a confidential and safe space with a credentialed coach (coaches adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics). Participants will receive six 50 minute coaching sessions over the course of a year. The first 50 participants that register will receive free coaching sessions with $100 administrative fee (payable at registration). Other participants will receive discounted coaching ($50/session, payable at session) an d $100 administrative fee. All fees will be payable to Emerge.

Registration Instructions

  1. Participants follow the link, register and pay the $100 administrative fee.

  2. Participants will receive an introductory email explaining the Coaching Care Network and introduction to their coach.

  3. Participants will receive a link to schedule their first session with their assigned coach. At that time the participant will complete an intake form and coachability questionnaire.

  4. Coach will schedule a time to onboard the participant via phone call.

  5. First coaching session happens & coach provides the participant with a link to schedule their next session.

Should a participant feel a referral to another coach is necessary, coach/coachee should contact Zach Prosser at zprosser@emerge.org

Emerge Counseling Ministries is a strategic partner of the Assemblies of God. The Emerge Way of counseling is the integration of Biblical truth with proven psychological insights to help people find rest and live free as Christ intended.
